New family fun pulls into the Chattanooga Choo Choo in April with two great new musical comedy productions. In the Jukebox Junction Theater, guests will be entertained with the retro 50s & 60s Rock-n-Roll Revue and the comedy variety show, “Elwood Smooch’s Choo Choo Cha Boogie Show”. The theatre features talented kids, amazing music and glorious gospel served with joy, happiness and Tennessee Pride. Chattanooga will host TaleSpin, showcasing local storytellers on the river at Coolidge Park. Tales will include youth stories, cultural stories, and more. TaleSpin will wrap up three days of fun with a special Mother's Day Storytelling Cruise on the Southern Belle Riverboat.
Have an Adventure with Clifford

Board the Birdwell Island Ferry and journey to the World of Clifford™ with a new temporary exhibit at the Creative Discovery Museum: Adventures with Clifford the Big Red Dog, inspired by Scholastic Entertainment’s TV show. Children can help fill Clifford’s dog bowl, find “bone”-ifide treasures at T-Bone’s Beach, and play a variety of instruments at the Musical Marina.
Pops on the River Comes Back to Coolidge

The Chattanooga Downtown Partnership will celebrate America’s Independence Day with Pops on the River, an outdoor musical concert at Coolidge Park featuring the Chattanooga Symphony & Opera (CSO). The event will conclude with patriotic fireworks.

Grand Canyon Adventure: River at Risk

Kennedy Jr., anthropologist and author Wade Davis, and their two daughters on a remarkable journey along the Colorado River that combines water, family, adventure, and conservation education. Grand Canyon Adventure: River at Risk promises to lead audiences on a thrilling adventure focusing on our most precious resource – fresh water. Narrated by Robert Redford and featuring songs and music by the Dave Matthews Band, the Grand Canyon Adventure will run all summer long.
